NutriDiary is built around a simple principle: your nutrition records should help you understand your body, not expose your private life. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

  • Account information such as email, nickname, and sign-in identifiers.
  • Profile and body data such as age, sex, height, weight, and activity level.
  • Food records such as meal type, date, food name, portion size, and nutrition values.
  • Photos and text you submit, such as meal photos, packaging images, or written descriptions.
  • Subscription and entitlement status such as plan level, usage counts, and expiration details.
  • Technical and sync-related data such as timestamps, sync state, and basic usage data.

  • AI service providers to process images or text you submit.
  • Apple App Store for subscription purchases and billing.
  • RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management.

We do not sell your data to advertisers.

4. Storage, Export, and Deletion

Your data may be stored locally on your device and in the cloud, depending on whether you are signed in and sync is enabled. If export is available on your plan, you may export your personal data for backup or migration. You may also request account deletion through supported in-app flows, and we will handle the related data according to applicable rules.

  • Camera access to capture food or packaging images.
  • Photo library access to select images from your device.
  • Network access for sign-in, sync, and AI requests.

6. Data Security

We use HTTPS/TLS and similar measures to protect data in transit, and we rely on backend access controls where available to limit unauthorized access. While we do our best to protect your information, no system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us so we can review it.
